book palette || the winner's curse

28 January 2015

the winner's curse came out. i read it. i loved it. the second book was published. i still don't have it. do you feel my pain? thankfully, for me, this book did not decive me with the pretty cover, the pretty cover just added to the pretty insides. and that's all i have to say, seriously. i reviewed the book and got all my thoughts out there! all i'm going to say is: sword fights, pretty dresses, piano music and spying. WHAT'S MORE TO LOVE? have you read it yet? what did you think?
"Think sword fights, sleek dresses, rising war and a plot that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end - when your emotions hit you with one punch and you fall off your chair onto the floor; because the ending will do that to you. It will." -from my review

  1. I'm in the middle of reading it at the moment! There was a lot of hype surrounding it so I kind of expected to love it straight away. I'm liking it so far, but as I'm not even half way through it yet, that like could change to love! Love the book palette - the colours are perfect!

  4. Love that you loved The Winner's Curse! I haven't read The winner's Crime yet either but I want to sooo badly. But anyway I love this colour palette! I read the US version so the colours weren't nearly as vibrant as this one. The navy and the raspberries just work so well together.

  7. The combination of sword fights and pretty dress is MY FAVOURITE. I didn't love this one as much as I hoped, but I really want to read book 2. It has a gorgeous cover too. x) I really love how you do these book palettes!

  8. These colors are gorgeous! I haven't read this series at all though. D: I know everyone keeps raving about it but I haven't had the motivation to go out and find the book. I know I will soon because I want to get on board with this series, but I'm terribly afraid of not loving it as much as everyone else does. *crosses fingers* The covers are to die for, though.
