GRAPHIC[LY] SPEAKING | The Night Circus

05 July 2014

One of my favourite fantasy books I have read this past year has been The Night Circus. It is without a doubt one of the most complex and intriguing novels to ever land on my TBR pile and I am so so glad Ruby book-pushed it enough for me to take note and investigate. It may look hefty [well, it is], but so are half the Harry Potter books and you read those didn't you? Give it a try.
For those of you who love intrigue, enchantment, dreams mixed with reality, or just reality? or just dreams? For those of you who love romance and a strong plot interweaved with many fascinating characters. This one's for you. And even if you just thing the cover is beautiful, high five those eyes because they're right. Then find and read a copy. What harm can it do? Because in the world of The Night Circus, everything is possible: you may think you will hate it, but how do you know until you try.

  3. Okay, so I think I've just fallen in love with The Night Circus. This post is INCREDIBLE.
I'm actually scared of circuses but this Ruby has been trying to persuade me to read this book and I think this has been the final successful push to get me to buy it.
    Wow.

  4. The Night Circus is one of the best books I've read. My favourite part was hands down the setting. I don't know how she does it but Morgenstern makes everything just feel so alive. And haha that line about reading the Harry Potter books make me chuckle. Every time I feel like passing a book up because of its size, I think about how I finished all 7 of the Harry Potter books and I get all pumped up like, "Yeah, I can do this!"
